Why I have no interest in bothering with commentary:

• I can't think of a compelling reason to put up with comment spam.
• I won't be touching identity/authentication until way down the line.
• I can scarcely believe anyone enjoys filling out email addresses, captchas etc.

Why you might not want to either:

• If your comment lives on my server, it belongs to me.
• If you have anything meaningful to say in reply, you should do it on your own site so it belongs to you.
